A Vid From The Ride
We will be meeting our support vehicle for halfway lunch and fuel. Bikes MUST be well maintained, licensed and capable of 85kms between fuel. It will be a cornerman system. Good fitness and/or bike skills is necessary for approx 130/40kms of single track. First in best dressed. Register your interest on our Facebook page. Details will be PM’d after confirmed numbers.
Its been too long!
Although we have put on group rides that didn’t make this page, it has still been too long since the last one. We are now back in full-swing in the store and flowing though the single trail, so watch this space and like us on Facebook. We will be putting on rides similar to the one outlined below… also using this ride as a Check-out for the next ride in some more technical secret trails. A Pub Ride is also on the cards where we will stop for a Pint and counter-meal near the half way fuel-stop 🙂
All rides will require good skills competance and a well maintained bike. Unfortunately we have to flag and turn around un-prepared riders for the good of the group, when necessary.
This year looks like it’s shaping up to be a very busy year with CROMP being actively involved with the T&E Club in organising and helping out with events throughout the season including the A4DE.
As most riders are, we’re looking forward to the rain and will be starting to host rides again as soon as the weather becomes more favourable.
Our season opener will be much like last years end of season ride, with a BBQ lunch supplied at the usual mid-ride refuelling stop and some beverages available after the ride. Camping will be available the night before and the night after the ride for those who choose, and the possibility of a shorter ride the next day for those who aren’t sore enough yet!
Keep watch on this space for more details soon.
